French Revolution

Hi Everyone this is specifically directed at the writers.  Rachel and I did an interview as of yesterday that Rachel explained and she covered most of it but I also feel how she mentioned that France is a secular Republic and that this dates back to, at least, the French Revolution.  I was thinking that we could work something into it regarding French history using this angle.

Marsha Ducey

Hey.  I just got an email back from Marsha Ducey her availability for Tuesday is as follows:

I can do tomorrow (April 7) anytime between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., April 14 anytime between 10 and 10:45 a.m., and April 21 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Just let me know what works.

So if any of the interviewers and camera people can get back to me about which times line up best for you I’ll forward that information.  I also emailed Professor Eison’s wife I’ll call the Yitzi Hein tomorrow.

Good News Everyone!

Hey all.  I just got an email from two of the French students last night who are willing to give us an interview.  They said to just let them know when where.  We can go over the specifics of who goes and what time this coming Monday.  Enjoy the weekend!

Ayaan Hirsi Ali on the Charlie Hebdo Story

I came across this video tonight.  I was thinking that some comments she made would be useful in our video showing that not all Muslims are extremists and do not condone what has happened.  She appears to be blaming the religion itself.  The ideologies of Muslim extremists rely on the religion.  In the eye of the extremist they are the true followers and the moderates are not.
